Biography

Bob Clark moved to Massachusetts from the midwest in 1980, just after starting his career in the Computer Technology field. Bob entered the workforce without a formal, technical education, so every step of the way he has relied upon self motivation, and the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.

During his 30 year career, he has worked for several Massachusetts companies in positions of management, and product development. One of those companies was EMC Corporation, based in Hopkinton, where he contributed to the company's meteoric rise from $30 million in revenues, to over $3 billion.

Most of the companies Bob worked for, however, have been smaller, startup companies. This type of company has been the heart and soul of technology innovation, and a major contributor to job creation over the past 30 years. It has been with these companies that Bob gained an appreciation for the entrepreneurial spirit, the challenges faced by small company owners, and the importance of limiting government barriers that are placed on businesses.
